"Yet a viper does not bite without provocation; biologically, its venom is defensive rather than aggressive. It strikes only when stepped on..." This was the one quote that stuck with me throughout reading this piece (though the entirety was greatly written, well done) as I see to it that the biology of the viper's venom and the precursor to its fearful bite may actually give us a much less erroneous and far more profound symbolism when referring to the viper in any form of speech or writing.

All in all, this was a profoundly insightful piece overall, very well done.

Thank you so much for taking the time to write this.

The viper’s biology provided a compelling lens through which to challenge the conventional symbolism associated with it, and I am truly delighted that the piece resonated in the way I intended.

I sincerely appreciate your thoughtful reading and generous words.

such an interesting read!!! this is one of my favourite proverbs, and to read your words on it was such a delight - loved the connections you made, it goes to show how even the order and structure of nature is often a reflection of human nature. every line was better than the rest, short but so impactful. brilliant!

“Perhaps the paradoxical dichotomy of the serpent’s symbolism attests to a larger truth: duality shapes the universe. Sweetness drowns bees, water erodes stones, and even truths, though longed for, can sting.” I loved this part so much, I always learn from you. Perhaps the point is not to resolve duality, but to learn to live inside it. To recognize that the same force that harms can also liberate, that the same truth that stings can clarify. Keep writing, you are so inspiring <3
